AGRARIAN & BIOMASS

ORTS grabs are working in agriculture, farming and at biogas- plants.

Over the years we developed different grab types for handling of fertiliser, feeding stuff, hay, straw, silage and the cost saving cleaning of digesters at biogas plants.

Small electro hydraulic EHG- grabs with low high and the small, radio controlled diesel hydraulic DHZ grab are the favorites.

We are located near by the Baltic Sea in Northern Germany. Since 1972 we are constructing and manufacturing nearly all kind of grabs, lifting beams (traverse) and other related equipment for ports, shipping, industry and power plants.

Construction and production are in Germany in our workshop.

Reliable, powerful and robust

The biggest grab from ORTS has a dead-weight of 115t and is a salvage grab. This grab serves in the Suez- Canal for removing ship-wrecks. The biggest dredger grabs from ORTS have a dead- weight of 60t and 80t. They were used for port deepening.

The fully radio controlled diesel- hydraulic motor grabs are made by ORTS since 1994.

No other grab maker has more experience with this kind of grab. They work independent, without external power supply, just a hook a needed. You can operate them with all kind of crane, everywhere and at once. 20 years old grabs of this type are still in operation, a worthwhile investment for the customers.

40 years ago, ORTS was one of the very first grab makers with enviroment friendly grabs with enclosed clamshells to avoid dust and spilling.
